sigmet - view Sigmet raw product volumes
The sigmet package draws radar sweeps obtained from Sigmet raw product files. For more information about these files, consult the Sigmet Programmer's Manual.
A file dialog selects volumes to load into memory, which then become available for display via each map's Sigmet menu. Data display in the main menu gives radar values at cursor location. Buttons below map change display to previous and subsequent volume and sweep. Color legend and labels can be dragged with mouse. Additional menu selections control data ranges and color saturation. The sigmet package is part of the visky base distribution. It also requires the tclradar and tclsigmet packages from tkgeomap.org/tkradar (note: you do NOT need the tclkoun package from there).
